Any application running on that channel would behave in the same way.</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1gokdk6151l\">Length of button text in Messenger</h3>\n<p>Long button text will be truncated by Messenger. Try to keep your button text (eg buttons in engagements) under 20 characters, incl spaces.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/079d861d72cc4aca80c65588df217079/files/Button%20text%20Messenger.png?width=1000&amp;height=\" width=\"767\" height=\"198\"></p>\n<p>You can create separate <a href=\"https://help.faqbot.ai/article/engagements\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">engagements</a> for the Messenger channel to accommodate this, using the \"Where\" setting:</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/079d861d72cc4aca80c65588df217079/files/Engagements%20where%20setting.png?width=1000&amp;height=\"></p>\n<h3>Engagements &amp; buttons</h3>\n<p>If your engagement has buttons and no \"Engagement message\" introducing the buttons, Messenger will display the text \"Here are some options:\" above the buttons. YouTube videos will not display in Messenger.</p>\n<p><img src=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/api/images/079d861d72cc4aca80c65588df217079/files/Facebook%20video.png\"></p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1gokq5i7i3t\">Callouts and styling</h3>\n<p>Callouts and custom styling (colours/CSS) don't display on Messenger.</p>\n<h3 id=\"mcetoc_1gokdk6151n\">How to disable your Messenger bot in the Helpfruit portal</h3>\n<p>You can enable/disable your bot on Messenger, to temporarily prevent your bot sending messages on this channel.</p>\n<p>To do this, navigate to the Channel settings tab on <a title=\"Channel settings\" href=\"https://portal.faqbot.nz/configuration/main\">Configuration &gt; Main</a> and toggle off the \"bot enabled\" switch for Facebook.
