What is a chatbot?

A bot (or chatbot) provides a conversational way of talking to machines. There are two basic categories of chatbots:

• Rule-based chatbots can respond to specific commands.
• Artificial intelligence chatbots (like me!) respond to natural language.

Advanced chatbots can use contextual information to create an engaging experience.
